Isaac doesn't answer straight away, just tucks his head against the side of Derek's nose. He can feel eyes on them and he doesn't care; the need for comfort is too much. "He told me that nothing was important enough to abandon my team mates for. He told me our baby isn't important."

And even while logically he can understand that Coach isn't aware of the circumstances and therefore doesn't know, in Isaac's hormonal, protective mind the logic doesn't have a leg to stand on.
